Gordon Ramsay Diagnosed with Skin Cancer

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay revealed on social media that he has been diagnosed with skin cancer and has begun treatment. Sharing an image of his surgical scars, he joked: “I promise it’s not a facelift.”
The Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef host posted pictures on Instagram last Friday, announcing that he has basal cell carcinoma: “Don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend. I promise it’s not a facelift! Otherwise I’d be asking for my money back.”
Basal cells are responsible for producing new skin cells. This type of cancer usually develops in areas of skin exposed to sunlight. According to the Mayo Clinic: “Avoiding sunlight and using sunscreen can help protect against basal cell carcinoma.”
